Our comprehensive knowledge of fabrication and welding is unparalleled. In our clean, modern facilities, we expertly work with mild steel aluminium, stainless steel and more. We use serial production techniques and high precision profiling and machining. Our world-class engineering is perfectly complemented by our surface coating expertise.
Our Ficep Gemini plasma machine cuts mild steel plate up to 100mm thick, drills and taps holes and adds machined weld preps. Laser profiling is carried out on the latest Amada 9kW Ensis fibre laser.
Our large HGG tube profiling machine can cut box sections up to 400mm2 and tube up to 1200mm in diameter – and its swivel plasma head can cut many kinds of weld preparations.
We have our own in-house machining department. Current capability includes HAAS lathes and vertical boring machines.
This is carried out by our in-house CSWIP 3.1 welding inspectors, internal MPI and PT testing teams. Third party independent testing is used as required.
Our highly trained and skilled operatives use the latest in technology, to the most stringent international quality standards such as BS EN ISO 3834-1:2005 & BS EN 15085-2:2007
Welding activities are controlled by our in-house international welding engineer. All types of welding such as MIG, MAG and TIG are used on mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel. We also have ESAB column and boom submerged ARC welding machines.
Using the very latest machinery from 1960 Seravesi, we have the capability to bend S355 steel up to 45mm in thickness at 3m widths. Our investment in 1960 Seravesi 35/50 rollers is a result of thorough research – and guarantees work of the highest quality.
