Hutchinson Engineering design, fabricate and install specialist steelwork for a variety of applications, including the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, working directly for blue chip organisations such as Shell UK Ltd. and Astra Zeneca.

We have a vast experience in all kinds of steel projects, with a capacity for large scale fabrication. Our purpose built facilities can handle individual items of upto 5t. Heavier items can be accomdated with the use of additional lifting equipment.

We have a through put capacity of over 2000t per annum.

Our fully trained and experienced work force includes coded welders (BS EN 287) who work within our BS EN 15614 system. This enables us to fabricate complex and specilist steel work such as vessel support structures. This service can be completmented with our in house design expertise.

Typical projects range from small access platforms, process plant support steelwork, through to large blast proof office accommodation and complex lifting or support structures.
